I also created two terms that you will see throughout this guide, often immediately following the name of a power/feat, etc.: Passive and Active.Ī passive ability provides a bonus or benefit that is ‘always on.’Īn active ability is one that requires the expenditure of Mythic Power (MP see below). These choices are either useless, so inferior to other options that you would be a loony to take them, or they actively inconvenience/undermine your character. Many of these are not very useful, but might be considered for their flavor or entertainment value. Purple will be used to mark situationally useful or ambiguous options in need of clarification. These are baseline options, the standard by which others are judged. You certainly won’t hurt yourself by taking them, except that you may be denying yourself more powerful options.
